As at January 25th 2007 - the trend is showing that we will hit the following milestones:

30% - Reached on 18th January 07 (previous chart estimated February 07)
20% - October 2007 (One month earlier than previous chart)
10% - July 2008 (Two months earlier than previous chart)
0% - May 2009 (this is where we will be expected to start drinking the Deep Water Storage)

A couple of other references

Here are a couple of references to the knowledge of the undrinkable deep water storage that has been added to the overall water storage supply figures when it is NOT drinkable. It would have to be additionally treated by a process that does not currently exist as part of Sydney Water's treatment works.

Dam Storage Drops Below 30%

Sydney water's dam storage levels have dropped below 30% (after removing the undrinkable deep water storage)

Water storage is dropping quicker than last months trend line that indicated 30% would not be reached until Feb.
